His fingers splay over the small of Abby's back, holding her close; his other hand entwined with hers, he waltzes her confidently around the dance-floor. She's smiling up at him, impressed.

"I never knew you could dance, Connor!"

Who'd have thought, back when he was ten years old and whingeing about being subjected to those interminable lessons in the living room, that he'd ever be grateful that his auntie was a dance teacher?

He tightens his arm around Abby's waist and dips her towards the floor. She giggles.

He's definitely getting Auntie Julie a really nice Christmas present this year.

The Primeval fandom has eaten my brain, Sal! It is full of pretty men and angst and military types dressed in black (one of whom turns out to be played by an actor with the most gorgeous body you've ever seen) with big guns and thigh straps! And dinosaurs! And there is much crack!

Of course they don't have Captain Tom Ryan (http://mysteriousaliwz.livejournal.com/92694.html?nc=7) on the ITV site anymore since they killed him off wrote him out in the finale of Season 1 by getting him eaten by a future predator and turning up as a skeleton in the Permian. Of course, we're firmly in denial on this one, since he's alive and well and having lots of sex in primeval_denial *g*
