mysteriousaliwaysThere was a feature on Radio 4 this morning, about the latest strategy for improving the success rate of breeding pandas in captivity, something which has been notoriously difficult. What have they come up with?

Apparently, in the panda enclosures over in China they've been showing films of pandas mating, in the hope that it will get the pandas in the mood to get 'jiggy with it' more often than the average of three days a year that is their current lot.
It seems that the results are, as yet, inconclusive.
