1) Forks where one of the tines is out of alignment with the others really irritate me. When I have lunch at work I have to check whether the fork is the least bit mangled before I put it on my tray. I just can't eat with it, I find it really distracting. (I blame the industrial dishwasher they have at the canteen - it eats cutlery). I know, I'm a sad, sad person.

2) I think that Edge is the most gorgeous, talented and attractive man on the planet. This is not news to most of you. (My husband, however, is the sweetest.)

3) I love to break the paper/foil seal on a jar of coffee by poking a teaspoon through it and carefully sawing all the way around the edge of it. Pure pleasure *g*. Sadly I don't get to do this much any more since I've taken to drinking tea in huge quantities.

4) My ankles are 30 degrees more flexible than normal. I discovered this in X-ray in the Accident and Emergency room of a french hospital. The X-ray chap was very taken aback, and insisted on x-raying the undamaged leg for comparison purposes to check that yes, it could bend that far as well. This probably explains why I'm rubbish at ice-skating.

5) You probably all know about my forearm fetish as well. Mmmm, forearms ...

6) I can't stand millipedes, ever since the occasion about 13 years ago when one fell off the ceiling beam in our former bedroom straight into my ear when I was half-asleep. Just ... eww.

7) When asked to take along 'an object that is sacred to you' to a shamanic workshop, I brought the U2 Zoo Tv Live at Sydney audio cd with that live version of Mysterious Ways on it. I know, I'm an irredeemable fangirl, but that particular version of Mysterious Ways is the essence of joy and spirit and exhilaration and elevation and I can't find the right word for it as it's 1am and I should be asleep. That song speaks to me - I want that version played at my funeral. I did, however, draw the line at bringing along my U2 iPod as a sacred object. I may be a geek, but there are limits.
