Captain Jack Sparrow = Gorgeousness.

Took my older daughter to see PotC3 last night (at our local cinema, amazingly enough. It's a big deal for them that they got hold of it for release date, as it's a tiny wee independent cinema in a small market town, and it used to take weeks, if not months, for big films to arrive. They got Superman 3 for release date as well).

I won't say too much about the plot to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but take your hanky :) Three hours didn't seem too long. Probably not quite as good as the first one, but I enjoyed it.

You can tell you spend a lot of time online when find yourself thinking 'I bet someone will make a screencap out of that shot' and spend the next few moments thinking of a suitable caption for an icon of it, lol ...

And vice-versa - lines like "Nobody move! I've dropped my brain" are begging to be made into icon captions *g*

Aaand when you find yourself thinking 'This scene is gonna kick off some Cutler Beckett/Jack Sparrow plotbunnies ...'

You know technically yesterday was just a preview - it's out today, so they got to see it a day before release. My mum was also quite proud of this fact.
