The Times is giving away 5 free iTunes tracks every week (that's 5 specific ones, not just any ones you choose, unfortunately, but still worth a look) and an audiobook (Lemony Snicket this week) for the next few weeks. Here if you're interested.
Also, does anyone want a gmail account? I have loads of invitations if anyone fancies one.
In other news, today I cannot typ eofr toffee (see? That should read 'type for toffee'). This may have had something to do with not going to bed till after 6am. Silly me.
Finally to the most important bit. Some sad news - Owl is going to give up writing for the next year :(
She has got a place on the teacher training course she wanted (yay!!) but the workload is pretty hefty, so she's going to have to cut down on something and the writing had to go. So it looks like Project Homer won't be finished before her course starts *hands box of tissues to
canciona*.
I may have a go at finishing it myself, although I'm not sure if it will happen - Owl is my muse and smut twin, and brings out the best in my writing - the stuff we do together is better than the stuff I write on my own (plus I'm lazy and need the discipline of writing with her to make me sit down and do it). We shall see.
I'm going to miss our writing sessions, my twin *hugs*. But I quite understand that something's got to give, and family comes first.

Date: Monday, 1 August 2005 21:53 (UTC)Neither of us wants Homer to languish unfinished, after all the work we put into it - either I will finish it off myself or we'll wait for a year (by which time everyone will have forgotten about it, lol - although then we could report it and get a load of new comments, muhahah!!!!
Ahem.)
I shall do my best m'dear. Thanks for all the support and encouragement.

Date: Tuesday, 2 August 2005 01:23 (UTC)I would LOVE it if you were able to finish it (and you say you need motivation? *looks eager*), but if not, I will
weep like a little childstill love it next year when you're able to do it together.Anything you need (encouragement, motivation, whip wielding, professional stalking, chocolate chip cookies, etc), you need only ask. ;)
Best not to ask about the erstwhile PWP, then? *ducks*
Much love and luck to you both, and seriously, anything I can do, Homer-related or otherwise, you know where to find me. *adores you guys*
