Friday, 22 August 2003 01:551. Initials: AML
2. Were you named after anyone?: Nope. I was going to be called Edith May but Mum changed her mind in the maternity ward when the nurse brought me in and said 'Here's Edie May." I consider it a lucky escape.
3. Do you wish on stars?: Sometimes. And when blowing out birthday candles.
4. Which finger is your favorite finger?: My right pinkie 'cos it grows the longest fingernail. Not that I'm going to show favouritism. All fingers were created equal. (Altho not in length. And some are stronger than others. I'm rambling. Please stop me.)
5. When did you last cry?: I had tears in my eyes today about a Radio 4 documentary about a woman who underwent medical experiments as a 13-year old in Auschwitz and was trying to find out what it was they did to her and if it might have caused her cancer. Proper weeping and sobbing? Not sure - probably fairly recently (I got much more sentimental and weepy after having kids).

I have lots of equal priorities (kids, husband, my dancing, my smut, my family, my online friends, my faith, not necessarily in that order). Maybe this is why my life is so disorganised. Note the absence of 'career/job' from the above. It is waaaayyy down the list.

16. Have you ever told a secret you swore you wouldn't tell? No. Secrets are secrets.
17. What is your guy/girl type?: Don't really have a type. Altho both my husband and Edge are dark-haired, with receding hairline, gorgeous eyes, gorgeous smile, Welsh family origins but born in England, live in jeans, t-shirt and sneakers ... Hmm, a pattern here?
18. Do looks matter?: Not that important, but it's always a bonus :)
19. What is the sexiest thing a guy/girl can wear?: Um. *Thinks* Rolled-up shirt-sleeves, showing a nicely muscled forearm, are kinda sexy. *Has a thing about men's forearms*
20. If you were to get paid $500 after, would you sell tampons on the side of a street for an hour?: Sure, why not? Nothing to be embarrassed about.

My cousin Liz was an actress and used to present Playschool (for any of you ancient enough to remember that!) 27. Who is your second family?: None - just my 'proper' family.

31. What class is the BEST?: I liked French.

43. How much money would it take before you kissed a member (your choice) of the SAME sex on the lips?: Why would I need paying? It wouldn't bother me. Altho if you're offering cash, I'm sure I could find someone suitably non-repulsive ;)
44. What radio station's do you listen to? Radio 4. I know, I know ... (And there shouldn't be an apostrophe in stations, as it's a plural. Just call me Mrs Nitpicker.)
45. Could you be a vegetarian?: I was practically vegetarian for practical reasons when I was sharing a flat with 2 vegetarian guys, but I like meat. And I come from a long line of farmers so have been brought up to be unsentimental about eating animals.

47. Do you untie your shoes every time you take them off?: Only the ones with laces ;)
48. Have you ever given money to a bum?: Yup.

My Mum always took me out to do that, and used to tell me that if you wash your face in the May dew it makes you beautiful. I'm still waiting, lol. I take my two daughters out to do it too, but they're usually half-asleep and somewhat bemused by the whole thing. Eat chocolate.
59. Would you ever get a tattoo?: Poooosssssssibly. I've already had my navel pierced, so it's not out of the question. But it would have to be something small and delicate.

Date: Friday, 22 August 2003 16:34 (UTC)Ohhhh, lightly tanned, nicely (but not excessively) muscled, a delicate tracery of blue veins, the light catching the fuzz of hairs, the thin, almost transparent skin on the inside of the wrist and the soft spot at the crook of the elbow ....
*sighs*
*coughs* obsessed, me? Surely not! *coughs*
