If you want to be interviewed by me you:
1 - leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - you'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - you'll include this explanation.
5 - you'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
These are owl's questions for me:
1. When you're belly dancing for an audience do you get a sense of power over the men that are watching?
Most of the audiences tend to be mostly women, so it doesn't really apply. When I really get into a performance I feel a connection with the audience, whatever gender they are, their attention and their responses buoy me up, give me a kind of high :D
Most of the men in the audience tend to be outnumbered and feel a bit self-conscious, lol. I don't feel as if I have some sort of power of them - I do feel empowered and sensual, but the presence of the men is kind of irrelevant!
(Once a male friend of one of the other dancers was watching me dance and then turned to her and asked if I was married! When I heard about that, it was a real ego-boost, I can tell you!)
2. Do you see your personality in your children?
At times, yes. Both my daughters can be moody at times, and I recognise myself in that. And they love books and stories :)
When they were little they were both a lot more outgoing and confident than I am, but my eldest is getting to be a bit more shy.
3. Is there one thing that totally convinces you that there is a God?
Hmmm, going for the trivial stuff, eh? ;) Actually , despite my pervy habits, I do believe in God (I just haven't been a very good girl recently, but I'm sure he'll forgive me eventually *puppy dog eyes*).
Personal experience really - there have been times when I've felt so uplifted and joyful and aware of God's presence. Very precious moments.
4. Do you have little niggly things that annoy you about your house?
Gahhhh!!!! How long have you got? I suppose we'll have to get around to finishing off all those little jobs around the house. Like putting door-handles on the kitchen door. And wallpapering the hallway (that bit of bare plaster has been waiting to be done for about 12 years now). The top bits keep coming off the bathroom taps. Brown shag pile carpet in the bathroom (blech!) which we've never got around to replacing. Horrible plywood cupboard in the kitchen. Well the whole kitchen, basically (but we may be getting a new one soon, budget permitting, yayy!!)
But it has immense character and history and is the first house we've ever had that is our very own, so we love it anyway :D
5. Billy in a kilt or Dom stark naked?
Both. Pleeease.
You mean I HAVE to choose? *sulks*
I'll be patriotic and go for Billy. He does suit the kilt *sighs dreamily*. But then I'd have to turn down nekkid Dom! *whimpers*
Dom. Nekkid ... Mmmmm.
*brain fizzles with the overload of indecisiveness and spontaneously combusts*
/rambling.

1. Do you believe in the human soul, and if so, how would you define it?
2. (I was going to make this one 'Pepsi or Coke' just as a contrast to the last one, lol. But I won't.) Who is your favourite author, and why?
3. If you didn't have art, what would you do for a living?
4. Which country do you most want to visit and why?
5. What do you see yourself doing in 5 years' time?

Ok, questions:
1. Why do you think slash is so appealing to women?
2. What do you want most for your children?
3. Do you think that what you express in your writing has influenced the way you look at/act in the rest of your life?
4. What's your favourite fantasy? (You can censor this bit if you want, lol!)
5. What do you think is your most attractive feature?
