Today I decided to tackle the pile of junk in the corner of the room (Corner? Hah! Half the room, more like) in order to clear some space to put up the Christmas tree. Among all the bits of toys, countless beads, old schoolwork, etc, I came across some carrier bags containing stuff that the girls brought home from our visits to family last Christmas.
Oops?
I miss Lyle. (I waved and said 'Hello Lyle' as I drove past the computer repair shop tonight. Yes, I'm that sad and pathetic). The desktop PC is doing its best but is so doddery it takes about 30 seconds between clicking 'Post' and the comment actually getting posted. *pets PC*.
I have no idea what to wear on Friday to the office Christmas Lunch (at the Hilton and then various bars). I won't stay out too late though as we'll be leaving Stroppy Teenager in charge of her younger sister for the evening, and either one of them might end up committing whatever the sisterly equivalent of fratricide is. Sororicide?
