Well we made it back from Scotland, although I was thinking maybe we should have packed a shovel in case we needed to dig ourselves out from a snowdrift on the way home. It was minus eight degrees when we arrived *brrr*.
I haven't caught up with all the fic I've missed yet, since I didn't have any internet access last week, and very little the week before *whimpers*. Still, my New Year's resolution is to wrest Lyle away from the kids by 9pm so that I can read LJ without having to stay up till the wee small hours. I haven't managed it so far (I'm currently typing this at quarter past midnight, and haven't read any fic yet), but I am resolute!
Other resolutions include getting on top of the housework; finishing off the final paperwork for my diploma, and being more proactive at work.
There was a load of other stuff I meant to post about but my mind has gone blank.
And you all agog to find out what I was up to, no doubt *g*.

With the advent of the My Guests feature, has anyone else been surprised at how many complete strangers appear to have been reading their LJ? There are people there whose usernames I've never even seen before. I expect it's the fic they're reading.
