You may have noticed that all has gone quiet on the Ali front recently (you did notice that my comments this week have been few and far between, right? Right? *long silence*) ...
Anyway, I haven't been able to read and/or comment on much for the last few days, since my PC has been going slower than a snail with the molluscean equivalent of arthritis, and it currently takes ten times as long to open a post than it does to read it. And since most of the stuff posted recently (well the Primeval stuff anyway) has been drabbles it seems like an awful lot of hanging about for a minute's worth of fic and I've kind of lost the will to live by the time I get to read anything.
Looks like another PC rebuild is inevitable. I won't have time to do it for at least a week though, as I'm off to my 7-day residential bellydance teaching course on Friday. So I will probably spend most of tomorrow frantically trying to find enough clean clothes (specifically dancewear) to last a whole week. And do my homework before I get there. Why do I always leave it to the last minute?
Off up to Scotland the week after to visit my Mum.
One of these summers we'll actually have a proper holiday - we haven't been away other than to visit family for about four years. Which considering hubs and I both work for an airline and get long-service staff travel concessions is pretty ridiculous.
