Thursday, 27 October 2005 22:43Youngest daughter (aged 7) comes into the bathroom with a plate as I'm getting dried after my bath this morning.
Youngest Daughter: "I've made you a special biscuit, Mummy. But I can't tell you the recipe, 'cos it's a secret."
*hands over plate bearing biscuit covered in a layer of chocolate spread, topped with pink sprinkles and a red jelly diamond*
"You can have it now."
Me: "Ooh, that looks lovely darling!"
*takes a bite, starts to chew*
Y.D.: "And I picked all the hairs off it and put them in the bin. So there aren't any germs on it."
Me: *swallows heroically*
