Wednesday, 3 November 2004 23:49Apparently I was on tv again last night.
This must be about the 4th or 5th time they've shown that clip - I went on a march a few months ago to protest against the County Council's attempts to reorganise the education structure around here (which involves closing down all the Middle Schools and generally disrupting an entire generation's education for reasons that are purely financial and have no educational benefit whatsoever).
Now every time they mention the issue on local tv they show the clip of us marching along the street with me playing my frame drum. I suppose they tend to use that bit because of the drumming - it gives people something to look at other than a load of people walking along a street.
I have some screencaps that someone sent to me but they're fairly unflattering so I won't post *g*.

In other news: most of the americans on my flist seem to contemplating emigrating atm.
I'd go for it chaps :)
(Mind you, if all the intelligent people left, there'd be no-one to vote out the Republicans next time ...)
