I have a job!
And not the one mentioned in my last post either :)
It's part time in a wool shop in our local town, alternate Wednesdays & Saturdays to begin with. I'm pleased and kind of surprised to have got the job, since I've only knitted about four things in total, and was upfront about being a total novice, but the owner seemed wildly enthusiastic at the prospect of someone who wasn't intimidated by the till or the prospect of entering stock onto the computer (her other current staff member sounds like a bit of a technophobe)!
Doesn't pay a huge amount, but a small income is better than nothing, and I'll be delighted at being able to contribute something to the household budget again :D
It's all happened ridiculously quickly - the owner tweeted about the job just before noon on Tuesday, I messaged her on Facebook right then, got an interview that afternoon, sent her my CV yesterday and heard I had the job today :)

I knew all that computery stuff would come in useful one day!
I think the bit that clinched it was me pointing out that if I picked up more of the technical stuff like stock control it would free her up to do more of the creative stuff like designing patterns *g*

I'm feeling quite enthusiastic about the whole thing, let's hope it lasts :)

Whooo hoooooo! She sounds like a lovely employer and you've still got time for your own craft work, so that's great
