*taps microphone, clears throat*
I wish it to be known that
canciona is an absolute sweetheart.
(But then those of you who are on her flist will already know that.)
*loves*
In other news, I'm back from our summer hols, which this year consisted of 9 days with the in-laws at their house. Not quite the same as Italy, but they are lovely, sweet people and have a characterful, tiny cottage in beautiful Shropshire countryside, so it wasn't a hardship. (Apart from the camp beds. Lordy, my back was killing me by the end and I must have looked like death warmed up, I was so knackered by lack of proper sleep. Well, that's what I get for all those years of training to improve my spine's flexibility for my dancing *rueful grin*)
Sheesh, you people are prolific though - Skip=240 when I got back, so I was skimming through the posts, so don't get offended if I didn't comment on your deeply insightful and personal post. Last day of the school hols today, so here I am at (eek!) nearly 2am, having finished ironing school uniform and cleaning shoes and writing cheques for dinner money and writing names in biro on the labels of their new school trousers as I can't summon up the energy to sew on any name tags at this stage (
canciona, I think that Energy TAL will come in distinctly useful!). Alarm is set for 6am.
Ah, the joys of parenthood. I had such good intentions to get organised this school year.
*toddles off to own beloved bed, with proper mattress*
