Happy New Year, my dearest flist!
Finally back home (and looking forward to sleeping in a Proper Bed *fervently thanks god for sprung mattresses*) and catching up with loads of posts from the last fortnight. Muchos apologies if I miss replying to your recent posts, you're just all so bloomin' productive and/or verbose!
Hope you all had a good Crimbo and New Year. I had a lovely time, did no more than a few paragraphs of the diploma assignments I meant to finish, got some lovely new dvds and cds (and the kids got some Primeval action figures, yay!).
Once I manage to get the internet connection set up and working on my lovely new laptop *strokes it fondly*, I shall be as happy as Larry. Still on the creaky old PC for the moment, but I've been watching dvds on the laptop when I can wrestle it away from the kids.
I shall have to find a name for it. Any suggestions?

The action figures were on the kids' Amazon wishlists, honest! And they even put them there themselves *g*
Well one of the figures is a mer-creature, so I'm not all that tempted to include him/her in any Pervy Plastic Productions. S2 Connor and Nick on the other hand ...
