I'll be heading off to the other end of the country for the weekend again, for another few daysof the bellydance teacher training course. All packed, but I haven't finished any of the assignments I was supposed to have ready to hand in, namely:
- An Analysis of Technique (which basically lists all the dance moves and steps you know and classifies them as to what they're related to, and which level you should teach them at. My friend's one is apparently 23 pages long.);
- 18 essay questions on Middle-eastern & Bellydance History and Culture;
- Identify the music style and country of origin of 15 pieces of music;
- Write up an Analysis of an Observation of someone else teaching a class (2 - 3 A4 pages). I have the notes for that, as I did the observation last night, but haven't written them up.
And ... I have two hours and thirty-five minutes to do it in (my friend's coming to pick me up at 3:30).
I'm buggered, basically (and not in the slash context!)
*headdesks*
Ah well, I hear I'm not the only one who's going to be late handing stuff in.
Well, have a good weekend kiddies, and Denial lot, keep the Sunday chat warm for me *g*

Date: Monday, 6 October 2008 00:15 (UTC)Quite a few others had trouble getting the work finished - I've heard they're leaving a much bigger gap between the last few weekends on next year's course.
I did get two of them finished though! All I need now is to get the rest done, as well as the new homework we got at this weekend.
If I spent as much time doing them as I do on LJ, my productivity would be remarkable *g*

And yay for the two finished assignments *bg*.

Date: Monday, 6 October 2008 00:19 (UTC)I wasn't in trouble - the people running the course are pretty good about stuff like extending deadlines (they realise that we all have lives, lol) but I'd like to get it all done and out of the way.
Right, better head off to bed - I think the Sunday chat will have to wait till
tomorrowthis evening :)no subject
